About This Project

Distant Construction embodies the feeling of being at home. Consisting of nine dancers from different parts of the world, each brings a unique history that fuse to form an atmosphere brimming with nostalgic feelings. As the dancers become the architects of their environment, the piece invites the viewer into a space designed by movement. The result is a temporary remedy for homesickness, a tribute to the place where my parts fit into the puzzle.
