About This Project

Wild Card is a game consisting of 52 playing cards that describe a score. Each card is a complete score on its own, or can be performed in combination with other found cards. These have been hidden throughout the city of “Vancouver” to be found and enacted. The cards can be traded and passed on to other people. The scores can be performed with others or alone, and can be repeated anywhere in the world. They can also be given a new hiding spot to allow the score to continue unfolding. In the email, maps will be provided to direct players towards the chosen hiding spots. This project was funded through the BC Arts Council Early Career Development Program and the Responsive Small Neighbourhoods Grants initiative.
